The Soul

In the stillness the soul reflects,
on the days gone by,
and what comes next,
I release a gentle sigh.

Believing & trusting in a love so deep,
through the struggle and the pain,
when all can be done is to weep,
the soul still feels the love,
through this heavy rain.

By God’s grace and steady hand,
the healing has begun,
feeling the power of His love,
flooded by His mercy from high above.
Oh Lord Jesus, I pray,
please touch my weary soul this day!
