On The Ironwood Tree

On The Ironwood Tree

Like a soft breeze the blooms appear,
Out of nowhere it seems.

As faint as a distant haze,
The eyes behold in steady gaze,
The color of silvery pink.

A gentle nudge to the soul,
Pleasing to this artist’s eye,
Reminiscent of springs gone by.

A sweet treat to the buzzing bee,
The beauty of nature taking its course,
If only the world could see!

In summer’s hot days,
The blooms will rest,
The bees will stray.

Until once again,
In springtime we see,
The sweet blooms appear,
And the buzzing bee…

On the Ironwood tree.
